Texas Rangers (and former NY Yankee and Met) Kenny Rodgers has, what the Rangers are calling, "Anger Issues." He punched out a cameraman. And yes, there’s video. People, you don’t do this. How many of us have had to physically separate our clients from the media? As in, "OK, we’re done here, let’s move on." It’s not fun. Teach your clients (or players, as the case might be) that the camera is always stronger than the punch – especially when it’s rolling.

We all know about AA’s ad campaigns – sexy women who win wet t-shirt contests and the like… I even blogged about how much I liked their CEO. Well, someone in NYC doesn’t like them too much – Such hate, in fact, that they dumped a garbage can through their window. On the plus side, Gawker came up with a good ad campaign for it.

According to Ad Age, Michelin Tires is going to offer refunds to all the fans affected by the lack of racing due to fears about the tires. Thoughts on this? I think it’s smart – It’ll generate some goodwill, but the real test will be to see who comes back next year.

Thanks to Jeff Carter of the US Coast Guard for bringing this story to my attention. Ouch, ouch, and ouch. Special Report Goes On the Offensive (Washington Post) My thoughts: Yes, we’ve all done it, but that doesn’t take the sting out of it any easier. NEVER put the email address in the "To" box before you write the email. Make it the last thing you do.

Pressure… Pushing down on me… I’ve been lax in updating – travel, work, and general craziness has prevented me from spewing forth that which I find important upon you. But hopefully, it should get back to a dull roar in the next day or two, allowing me much time for spewage.
