We spend a lot of time worrying about work, perhaps neglecting things that are a bit more important, perhaps because they don’t seem so at the time. In the end, though, we tend not to realize how important they in fact were, until the option to pay attention to them is no longer available to us. Why don’t we take a minute out of our busy schedules today and call someone we love, and let them know we love them. Why not do it while we can. Fly Free, Shannon.

Virgin mobile is offering users of Virgin Mobile USA the chance to earn free cell minutes by listening to and responding to ads. I believe we’re going to see this a lot more – things like tell-us and freeconferencecall.com already do this – but it’s just a matter of time before this becomes a viable alternative to buying/renting/paying, especially in places/industries where there’s a limited budget – i.e., kids/teens. Of course, it all depends on how the reaction to the ads are – never before has TARGETING been so important.

Why sometimes, going live direct isn’t the best idea. Or is the best idea, from a humor standpoint. As seen on Wimp.com

Best line (other than his classic "I’ve got you for the rest of your natural born lives,") in my opinion, was his beautifully deadpanned "We’re gonna need a few more FBI guys, I guess," said after the FBI helicopter carring special agents Johnson and Johnson blows up and crashes into the outside of Nakatomi Plaza, in the 1998 blockbuster "Die Hard." RIP, Mr. Gleason.
