Some genius engineer at CNN today left a live mic on Kyra Phillips as she went to the BATHROOM during Bush’s 1-year Katrina Anniversary speech. Over the President’s speech, you can hear her speaking about how difficult it is to find a good man, but how it’s doable. Audio is here. And Kyra, even though you’re married, be careful about talking in the bathroom about your husband’s sister. Calling her a control freak will not make for a good Thanksgiving dinner. Transcript here. Kyra, if this winds up in a divorce for you, may I just say that I’m a good, kind man, who happens to be single. (PS: Yes, Kyra is the one who confused US Ambassador John Bolton [...]

PR: Public Relations. Or… PR: Personal Record. Sunday, August 27, 2006 NYC Half Marathon, Presented by Nike Official Time for one Peter Shankman: 1:52:23. Bested my old half marathon time by more than 2 minutes, 30 seconds. Can’t move now, but so totally worth it. Go me! :) PS: PR (as in PR) for this was insane – WABC covered it live, as did every other NYC station in all their news programs. Props to NYRR’s PR team!

We’ll let you get away with a lot, but you can’t cross "this" line?" Different lines at different places, I suppose. Which is fine – just curious which companies actually have the guts to implement specific policies when [...]

"Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary." Steve Jobs Via Work Happy
