Update: Dodgeball is live again. It was, a "brief outage." Whew. I’d hate to think of those East Village Hipsters not knowing where to go for any more time than they had to. For Dodgeball… Is no more. Wow. 300 people aren’t going to be able to tell each other where they’re drinking. I’d talked to more than one person who said they used Dodgeball for the anti-what-it-was-invented-for – to find out where someone was, then NOT go there. Almost like a "we don’t want to hang out with X" warning system. THAT’S a service I’d pay for. Rest in Peace, Dodgeball.

What are we reading? I just ordered a bunch of new subscriptions through Continental’s One Pass Magazine store – 20 miles per dollar spent. So what are we reading? Comment on what you read, not only for work, but for fun – I’m thinking of expanding my circle a bit. Perhaps learning how to pimp out my fly ride. Or something. Go ahead. Since it’s a new beginning, I figured starting off with this morning’s sunrise from LaGuardia Airport would be fitting. Good morning, world. Where shall we go today?

John F Kennedy’s runway 13R-31L is the second longest commercial runway in North America, at a length of 14,572 ft (4,441 m). Total runway length is nearly 3 miles. -Wikipedia I got to run it. I know I shouldn’t be running, thanks to my Achilles Tendonitis, but I couldn’t pass this one up. Every year, the JFK Rotary Club, for charity, produces the JFK 5k Runway Run. You start at Building 14, towards the back of the airport, run onto the Runway, turn around in front of a plane (This year, a Jet Blue A320) and then run back. To run on a JFK Runway is just something that can’t be described. It was so amazingly cool! And of course, [...]
