I got to play with the iBot today, thanks to my client’s IR breakfast at Le Parker Meridian. What an amazing device! Totally revolutionary, but is to be expected, since Dean Kamen invented it. Dean, as you know, also invented the Segway. Just spectacular technology. Seriously.

Thanks to Steve Eisenberg and Howard Greenstein for putting it all together. About 70 people showed up! Wow! It’s always a pleasure to speak with Andrew Weinreich, and together, I think we really gave some good ideas about where social networking is, where it’s going, and who’s winning. It was a lot of fun. Another nice thing it did was allow me to personally connect with a few Facebook friends I’ve only met online up until this point. And when I got home, I saw that I broke 1,000 friends. What’s kind of amazing about that is that they’re actually people I either know, have networked with, or who have come personally recommended. That, to me, is kind of cool [...]

I read the greatest quote on ADD the other day. “In ADD, there are only two types of time: “Now,” and “not now.”” While this is, 100%, without question, my life, I’ll get into more of that at some point in a future post. I promise. The reason I bring it up today, is because we live in a “now or not now” kind of world, yet so few of us take advantage of it. It’s nice to do a favor for someone – if I can get them press, I will. If I happen to sit on their advisory board when I do it, all the better. The Scott-e-Vest on RawVegas last week at CES. It’s not CNN… But then… Scott’s not Larry King, either. So it all works out.
