Matthew Modine want to buy you a beer! Matthew will be doing a 20-mile bike ride through Brooklyn and the Lower East Side, stopping at a number of local bike shops to spread awareness about his September 20th event – Bicycle for a Day (BFAD.) Matthew wants to invite bicycle and environmental enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to join, to go along for the ride with him to help spread the word. The ride will culminate in an art show at Phebes at 7:30 PM. Mr. Modine wants to personally buy a beer (or non-alcoholic beverage of your choice) for anyone who completes the entire ride with him. So the other day, I signed up with a Triathlon team. I figured, I have my running team, so this is a way to get faster in the other two sports that compose a Triathlon. I got to meet David Brain CEO of Edelman Europe today. Not only did he give us a great Buy Peter a Sandwich interview, but then flipped the camera, and interviewed ME for his SixtySecondView blog. I love CEOs that blog. His interview of me first, then mine of him. Enjoy! Best part? It’s a classic description of what HARO is. Forward it to friends when they ask. Hopped the red-eye to London last night for a handful of meetings today. Found Kevin Anderson at the Guardian. Kevin is a corn-fed mid-west boy, transplanted to London, running the Blogs at the Guardian. He talks about the differences between American and European social media, why some people just don’t get it, and of course, cats. Find more videos like this on PROpenMic And I don’t wanna hear about the camera shaking. I’ve been up for 29 hours now. Another interview later.
