Yesterday, I tweeted the following:Increase your hustle by 10%, and your game will increase by 50%. Trust me. I’ve done it. Here are five easy ways to help increase that hustle. 1) Talk to three people you haven’t spoken to in a while – Hint – Facebook makes it super easy. Simply look to the right of any page, and you’ll see this: Simply say hi to three people in your network. Doing this every day guarantees that you’re talking to your entire network, and not wasting those connections. It also promotes top of mind presence, which makes people think of you when they need something – which leads to more work for you, which translates into more revenue – [...]

*NOTE: Guest Post by the wonderful Meagan Walker, my most awesome assistant. So Your Boss Wants to Do An Ironman… There are several calls you get as an assistant to a high-powered boss that strike fear into your heart. Few are as demanding though, as the “So I think I’m going to compete in an Ironman.” It makes sense that CEOs or high-powered people gravitate towards the Ironman. a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, and 26.2 mile marathon isn’t for everyone, and requires a level of determination not often seen by “regular Joe’s” in the workplace. So if you’re the right hand to one of those “Type A” bosses, the Ironman call is one you just might receive. [...]

Got a Facebook Fan Page? Pose the question there and check out the responses. Ask for a hundred people to give you a sampling (and send them something in return for their time.) 2) I work for Eden Day Spa, a day spa in San Anselmo, CA. The owner loves marketing and is now [...]

Up late tonight, uploading photos from my 20th High School Reunion. (Let’s not even waste time thinking about that, I haven’t even STARTED processing the fact that I graduated from High School twenty years ago this weekend… Yeesh.) Either way, was going through photos, and paused to check my email, and had another note from Twitter about a new follower. Clicked on the person – no bio, no link to a website or any type of background, just a name, 61 followed, 16 followers. So I clicked on the people she follows. First person below me was Guy Kawasaki. “OK,” I thought – “I’m in good company. Chris Brogan was below that, also cool… But I wanted to learn more. [...]
