I just happen to stumble upon this. Four years, I probably wouldn't have understood anything you wrote but now I get it... I'm actually going to study abroad next semester in Korea. It was either graduating on time or studying abroad and staying an extra semester in college. It's a late decision, but I know I made the right choice. I did, and have been forever grateful since then. And I still have all the things on my list, I didn't do, because I have never been abroad since. I have had good jobs, but none that had you traveling abroad. Heck, they barely allowed you to travel within the US. Back 40 years ago, when I was in Europe, I knew, just knew, I would be back. I haven't made it yet, but what I saw, what I learned, and what I did, will be cherished all my life. Study abroad. I did, and have been forever grateful since then. And I still have all the things on my list, I didn’t do, because I have never been abroad since. I have had good jobs, but none that had you traveling abroad. Back 40 years ago, when I was in Europe, I knew, just knew, I would be back. I haven’t made it yet, but what I saw, what I learned, and what I did, will be cherished all my life.
