Buy Peter a Sandwich – Catherine Merritt – Morton’s Steakhouse
Best food for a Buy Peter a Sandwich Interview yet – Catherine Merritt took me to her “office,” Morton’s Steakhouse. Easy to do when you’re the PR Coordinator for Morton’s. Good, good food. And good company. And good food.

I am hopelessly addicted to Morton’s. I just can’t afford to be. Ah well, I go when I can! Luckily there’s one right next to my company’s facilities in Houston, or there’d be absolutely nothing good about having to fly to Texas.
-Bacon-wrapped scallops
-Chop salad
-Double-cut filet
-Garlic green beans
-Lyonnaise potatoes
-Godiva hot chocolate cake
-coffee
-Woodford Reserve bourbon.
Say it with me:
ahhhhhh.

Peter: You are brilliant. I enjoyed the interview with Catherine and was thinking the whole time how you have spun yourself into such a unique niche. One of my clients is Cold River Vodka, made right here with Maine-grown potatoes and pure spring water in the state of Maine. Check it out- http://www.coldrivervodka.com. I am going to see if Morton’s carries this brand….maybe Catherine would like to do a tasting for their customers!

Morton’s is my go-to place. It has been for over 10 years. My “home” Morton’s is the one in Great Neck, New York (where I have a wine locker), but I have been to at least 15 others around the world. There is nothing better than a NY Strip cooked medium rare…mmmm

Catherine is my colleague at Morton’s and she did a great job with Peter on the interview. Congrats to you both.
