This was released 20 years ago next month. Sigh. He’ll keep calling me, and calling me… He’ll make me feel guilty… OK. I’ll go. I’ll go. I’ll go. I’ll go, I’ll… I’ll go.

Bravo to Manhattan Mini Storage for capitalizing on the most overused phrase in the last year, but doing it in a way that actually made me laugh out loud on the R train last night.

This is when we start asking if blogging is taking itself too seriously. A site called 59 Bloggers is making a movie about… You guessed it, 59 bloggers. They picked a whole bunch of bloggers, and will film them. Film them doing what? They’re not BASE jumpers, they’re BLOGGERS, for chrissakes! "Notice the special way he types with his fingertips, Bob. It’s fascinating, isn’t it?" Close up: Zoom in: Scene: Man types while surfing for stuff to type about. Zoom out: Man pushes "publish." Gotta wonder if countingdown.com will focus on this one. :)

Interesting article in the Times today. (Annoying registration required.) Basically, it asks how much press is enough press on Tom Cruise, and when does it start to hurt Paramount? Good questions, indeed. The Thomas Katie Affair, which we all know is BS, has been stealing quite a bit of thunder from "War of the Worlds," (as it is, I’ve lost a ton of money on War on the Hollywood Stock Exchange…) So when does it become too much? And poor Brad Grey – Brand new into Paramount, and he’s faced with the "Do we spend $150mm on MI-III and hope that Tom doesn’t spaz out? Tough choices, indeed.
