Fortunate timing for the US Treasury, huh?

You know, had the US Mint issued their new five dollar bill either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of this week, the most play it would have gotten was perhaps a reporter doing the math to figure out how many of them Spitzer would have needed for two hours with Kristen.

So fortunately for them, Spitzer resigned yesterday, giving CNN a much needed break to fill space with virtually anything else, including two full minutes for the debut of the new five dollar bill.

It would seem to really be, yet again, all about timing. Good for the Mint.
