Google continues on goal of weirding me out…

I went online looking for Boxing hand wraps this morning. They’re long pieces of cloth that you wrap around your hands before you put your gloves on.

I would buy them at Sports Authority, perhaps Sears, maybe a sporting goods outlet.

I wouldn’t buy them at Home Depot.

Yet, Google thinks I would, and would even charge Home Depot as such.

Does Home Depot even SELL boxing wraps?

Turns out they do.

But does the psychology work? Would I go to Home Depot for them?

Good question. I don’t know.

You think that’s weird? Occasionally, I’ll check the search word feature on my Sitemeter. Someone typed “father daughter touching thighs” and Google linked to my blog. THAT’S WEIRD. And creepy, to say the least.

Home Depot boxing hand wraps could totally whip Sears boxing hand wraps, yo.

Hehe, awhile ago when searching for any random term, it would show an ad for eBay and say (for example, if searching for women):

Women: Whatever you need, you can find it at eBay.

Yeah… there were a few more search terms that were quite awesome.
