PETER SHANKMAN

Joanna Krupa would rather go naked than wear fur. Or wear anything, apparently.

Joanna Krupa is the newest PETA celebrity to bare it all for a PETA ad campaign.

She looks good. And naked. And fur-less.

While this is obviously a blatant "sex-sells" campaign for PETA, at least it’s for a good cause.

And it has Joanna Krupa naked. Which is important to the general feeling of well-being of our planet.

I don’t think PETA qualifies as a good cause. Their theories would prevent most new vaccines from ever being found – whether you want to accept it or not, animal testing is critical for that.

You may find this trivial, but my wife has nasty reactions to the various soaps and lotions that are advertised as being created w/o animal testing. The ones that do get tested that way – not so much.

So no, PETA is not a good cause. They stand for the end of an awful lot of good medical research – which makes them pretty close to evil in my book.

James: I agree. Although, in theory and name PETA sounds like a good cause, their cause as it relates to the value of human life is not so pretty–but their spokesmodels sure are.
