Once every several months, I sync up my contacts list. I delete people I do not need in my phone anymore, delete old pics, etc. To answer previous poster's question, I write people by when or where I met them; i.e. Jim.PapaJohns.Pizza.Chlt... This tells me Jim is the delivery guy from Papa John's in Charlotte when I want pizza. When I am in another city, I just type Pizza and have a place saved same way, or Chlt and lots of options come up. I dare say that is my favorite feature of Berry contacts.

Same goes with children's friends (Mary.Jamie) then I know without a doubt who is calling. Lastly, I enter also the name of the contact that introduced us. (Jim Smith.Painter.MaryMartin). It really helps organize!

I'm finding Twitter and Facebook too time-consuming and not user friendly enough to completely update on my mobile device (a Treo; that's probably the problem).

So those are laptop things, not subway things.

My subway time is for novel reading. I'm convinced James Joyce had the 6 Train in mind when he wrote Finnegans Wake.

Short-term: Twitter, Twitter, Twitter. At 140 characters, you can't do long-term. But you sure can forge lots of connections in a very short period of time. You said "you're all on Twitter, right?" I'm betting most *aren't.* Get on Twitter. Today.

You've got them!
Short term- DELETE old BB e-mails. What a feeling of accomplishment...
Long term- Writing e-mails on the plane while no new ones are coming in and the glorious feeling of syncing up and watching 45 new e-mails barrage unexpecting recipients!

Question- how do you organize your contacts? Like food or services? I add them all the time in contacts and can't remember how I filed them... Then I find out I put the pizza shop under Jim and he doesn't even work them anymore...
