Maybe it was an engineering mistake, and maybe it wasn’t. Sometimes if an engineer or cameraman has a bad relationship with a news reader, they will let something like this happen. Every tv news station has it’s share of stories of how images, sound or timing were manipulated to make some uppity twinkie look stupid. The stories can be hilarious. Moral of the story: treat the people who control your image and sound on tv with respect.

You have to admit, her audio could have been A LOT worse than what was actually said/heard.
