PR truth is stranger than PR fiction

So The Onion, one of my favorite reads, had a great story a while back about how Gillette was going to unveil a five-blade, two-aloe-strip, self-lathering razor. Very funny story. (Crude language warning for those reading at work.)

Anyhow, that said, this just in from CNN: Gillette Unveils Five-Blade-Razor.

It’s like how AmEx created a Black Card because there were all these rumors about a supposed Black Card.

I REMEMBER this story, and remember thinking HOW RIDICULOUS. Oh my lord…hysterical!

Why not just a 100-blade mask, like a medieval torture device or a really sharp cheese grater?
