Help A Reporter Out I founded Help A Reporter Out (HARO) in November of 2007, and it was acquired by Vocus, Inc. in June of 2010. It’s the world’s largest source repository for journalists to connect with sources in the world, with over 150,000 sources receiving queries from over 50,000 journalists daily. It’s pretty amazing.
