MRI on Friday. If the marathon goes out of reach for another year, I’m subletting my apartment, leaving a dead cow for the cats, and getting out of the country for the next six months.

Ouch! Hope it heals quickly Peter!
ROFL! Nothing worse than delaying marathon dreams because of injury. I so relate and feel your pain.
Holding out hope with you.
So no more runs for now, huh? Hope it clears up soon. (My ankle actually started acting up at mile 5 of National, never got worse, but never got better, so I’ve been popping Vitamin I and hoping it holds up until Brooklyn. Then I probably need to head to the doctor …)
Bummer! hopefully whatever the decision on “recovery” it’s quick! Cheer up
sorry about that, must suck big time , how is it effecting your jumping ? so when is the apartment aviable?
Does coming to Jersey count as leaving the country? ; )
Hey Peter, I want to thank you for telling the ankle story. My daughter twisted hers yesterday playing football in shoes instead of sneakers, and I”m wasting no time figuring out if it’s something more serious. -k
I’ll watch the cats…
Ouch! Sorry about the ankle!
“Leaving a dead cow for the cats”
Only one?! lol
Looks like some stuff in there that shouldn’t be - acck! Maybe a special feline ‘purr’ treatment will clear it….M
HOUSE EXCHANGE!
Talk about different strokes… I remember spending most of my school weekends trying to get injured just badly enough to avoid cross-country running, but not so badly that it would radically impair my mobility. (Hooray for mountain bikes.)
I hope you ankle heals up quick. I wouldn’t want to stand in the way of anyone’s joy (however weird its source might be!)
My husband is a dairy farmer. We can probably work out a deal. We’ll even throw in some manure.
Sorry about the ankle — heal speedily.
Paula
Bummer. Hope you heal soon!
