Maybe have the guy outlined instead of solid black. Give the brief case some handles and maybe have something written on it like Escape to Adventure. Or have words on the parachute -a new tagline. |

Should I be seeing a guy with a briefcase and a parachute? I see you with your arms folded. |

Peter, Do not spend cycles and money designing a new logo until you check out my new book, Branding Basics for Small Business: How to Create an Irresistible Brand on Any Budget (www.brandingbasics.info) It talks about all the great thinking (in 10 easy steps) that you should put into your logo BEFORE you spend time and money with a designer. By building on a strong brand foundation first and really understanding WHAT you want to communicate TO WHOM, it can make your logo do a lot of the “communication heavy lifting” for you and appeal to your target audience. I’ll even send you the book for free just to ensure you get a logo that works FOR you not just one “you think is kind of cute!” Peter, email me at maria@red-slice.com and I’ll shoot you a copy, stat. I guarantee that if you answer the 10 questions and really clarify what you’re all about first, you’ll save money and sanity – and your designer may just jump up and hug you! |
