PETER SHANKMAN

Somewhere in the East Village, a Nerd Shakes with a Dark Fear…

Update: Dodgeball is live again. It was, a "brief outage."

Whew. I’d hate to think of those East Village Hipsters not knowing where to go for any more time than they had to.

For DodgeballIs no more.

Wow. 300 people aren’t going to be able to tell each other where they’re drinking.

I’d talked to more than one person who said they used Dodgeball for the anti-what-it-was-invented-for – to find out where someone was, then NOT go there. Almost like a "we don’t want to hang out with X" warning system.

THAT’S a service I’d pay for.

Rest in Peace, Dodgeball.

It sounds like the “Dork Detector” that was used in Bloom County, much to the chagrin of Opus.
