Talking Social Media with the Mayor of Minneapolis
This was a treat – Thanks to Graham Gillette, at Gillette Strategic Resources, and a bunch of other truly amazing HARO family members, I was able to spend 20 minutes yesterday doing a Buy Peter a Sandwich interview with Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak, discussing everything from social media to the digital divide to stealing ideas from Mayor Bloomberg. Thanks to all who helped set it up, and of course, thanks to Mayor Rybak!

Hard to hear, but worth shutting everything down so you can strain your ears. Good content. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much for this! We are in the process of implementing a social media plan for the City of Tempe, Arizona. This was really helpful. WE LOVE HARO!

I cranked up the sound to get to hear this and it was interesting. I like how someone really can use social media/web 2.0 to prove a point.. not just in political campaigns but give locales/cities a personality and reach out to not only their own population but also others who might visit or move there.

It was a little hard to hear his responses but I loved it! It was great that he was very at ease. Love your “buy Peter a sandwich” idea. Look forward to more.
