To everyone in the HARO Family – journalists, sources, advertisers, and friends, thank you for your trust in me, as I wind up in your in box three times every day. I continue to be humbled. Thank you, thank you, thank you. From Meagan, Michael, Karma, NASA, and myself, may 2009 be your best year yet, and may HARO, in some small way, continue to be a part of that.

Peter, Happy New Year and thanks to you, as well! As a new media entrepreneur and journalist whose start-up magazine literally operates on a Shoestring budget with a full-time team of two (and just one editor), there’s no way we could put out the volume of quality content we achieve each week without HARO. Keep up the great work, grazie mille, and we can’t wait to receive even more of those great emails in 2009–maybe even get to meet on that world tour. All the best, and salute! ~ Melissa Melissa Massello |

Well Peter, thank YOU! I am brand new to HARO and am just learning about what you’ve built here. I’m amazed that it’s only been going on since March of 2008 – a true tribute to what can be created when you find kindred spirits and band together with them. I look forward to participating and seeing what I can contribute to your work, and how doing so allows me to contribute my work to the world. All the best, onward and upward! |
Peter – Well done! My favorite part of HARO is reading your intro. Keep up the great work. From all of us at WordHampton PR – Hip, Hip, HARO! (And – Peter, you’re about to be proud of me – you can follow me on Twitter – http://twitter.com/stevehaweeli). Happy New Year Shankmaster and great ideas for 09! Steve |

Peter, you truly embody the 7th spiritual law of success: the quickest way to get what you want is to help others get what they want. Thank you for your giving nature. You are a blessing to us all! |

Peter- you make my world a better place 5 days a week. When I was laid-off this year, people told me that one day I will see it as the best thing that happened to me. HARO has been part of helping me learn to accept that my leap of faith continues to be a good idea, just not as planned. The press coverage I have received this year has lifted my spirits, helped to renenew friendships and contacts and helped to give me the hope to get through this hard time in my life. HARO and your words of wisdom inspire me every day. You live your life and career in an amazing way and you give us tools so that we too can prosper and grow. Thank you, thank you, thank you. HARO has helped me get into the LA Times, New York Times, Cnn.com and many other places. My flurry of press activity, primarily around my lay-off this year, has helped me through some hard times. And, I am a line drawing in the WSJ which is a point of great pride to my dad. Aw. Here are my two major brags this season: Have a great year! |
No, Peter. THANK YOU!!! HARO is the best…and so are you! Happy New Year. |
You’re so adorable. Love getting to know you. |

HARO is brilliant! It’s been extremely useful to me as a book author and fun as well. You should be proud. I wish you a fabulous 2009. Thanks for the personal look into your world. Stay warm. |
I echo what so many others have said: Thank You. Your attitude and charisma are inspirational. Judith Gotlieb |
Thank you Peter, Meagan and Michael for all the terrific, daily HARO pitches that arrived in our e-mail baskets this year. Best wishes for 2009. |
Thanks Peter! You ROCK!!! Really! Thanks, you have been a major source of help and inspiration! |
And many thanks and good wishes to you too, Peter. The past year has been a HARO-ing experience, and I mean that in the best possible way! |

Thank you, thank you, and thank you! I appreciate your leads and have been on the receiving end of some great PR and interviews! With the HARO world tour, if you are ever in Indianapolis, IN, you are more than wecome to stay at our house rather than a hotel – we have a spare room (it’s okay with the hubby). We would love to have you as our guest and treat you to a home cooked meal. A little about us – we are in our 30′s and have a cat. :) I appreciate all that you do and have done, as I am a small business owner – a professional speaker with a disability. By sharing my story in some of your queries, my message has been able to help, encourage, and provide hope to others. But, it’s thanks to you and HARO that I am able to share my story and message. Again, thank you, and may God bless you, |
We love HARO and sing its praises. Please let us know how we can help the HARO World Tour in Texas (Houston and Dallas). God Bless! |
Peter, love the idea of a traveling HARO! Come to Louisville…the Gateway to Bourbon Country! (And let me know how I can help plan your visit.) |
Not much to add to the great responses here – all I can say is that HARO is probably the most genius working concept that I encountered in 2009. Onwards and upwards! |
Since Karma is the name of your cat, I hope that you are truly feelin’ only good karma coming your way. Like the joy and optimism you have been able to spread this year, particularly from us small business owners who now can access the media… with just a little more of our never-ending sweat equity. As to Nasa…ummm…reach for the stars?! XO, Peter! |
