What is Art?

What is art? Some might say that Art is the merger of something beautiful with something where it doesn’t belong - for instance - a mermaid on dry land, or perhaps any of the paintings of MC Escher.

I believe art is the merger of something beautiful with something where it has never before been.

711 This, my friends, is pure art. There is joy in the world. A 7/11 1/4-Pound Big Bite, covered in free melted cheese product, available in NEW YORK CITY! (Note well placed subway entrance.)

Let us rejoice. The first 7/11 in NYC has opened - 23rd St. off Park. All smile.

The 23rd Street store is not the “first 7-Eleven in New York City”. First off, there are 40 other 7-Elevens in the 4 other boroughs of NYC. Secondly, if you just mean Manhattan, 7-Eleven had stores there in the early 80’s and then again the early 90’s. It didn’t work out both times.
