Immersive Media and Google are doing different things…Google is just taking picutres and posting them on the interent, where as Immersive Media is taking the time to “scuff” out the faces of people, names of buildings, license plate numbers, and anything else that could violate the privacy act. These images are on the internet to help you locate an address and get a better look at where you need to go…they are not there to point out where people are located and what they are doing.

FXEditor, I won’t say your photo professor is wrong, but you probably didn’t ask the right question…

There are a lot of conditions: purpose of the image (commerical, personal use, etc), primary subject v background, etc…
