PETER SHANKMAN

Whoever you like on Tuesday…

Please, just vote. If you don’t, you lose your right to complain. About anything. Including Spammy PR people and media who don’t return your calls.

I’ll dissent. If you don’t follow the news well enough to know the issues or the candidates, do the rest of us a favor – stay home, don’t vote. An uneducated voter is the last thing we need. I’d much rather have a lower turnout from engaged people than a higher turnout from people who have no idea what the candidates stand for.

Have to agree with James Robertson.

Howard Stern did a skit up in Harlem with people on the street. He asked them if they were voting for Obama, but giving them McCain positions. He was saying things like, do you agree with Obama’s pro-life stance? Do you agree with Obama giving a tax cut to big oil companies? Only 1 out of the 5 he interviewed knew that the interviewer was messing with him. Sad, very sad…

I still think every person that wants to vote should be certified somehow. Maybe this country wouldn’t be so screwed up. But then again, maybe it would… :(

I love that the message is to vote, and nothing to do with WHO to vote for. I think that we have ample opportunities to learn what the candidates are about for President. The OTHER offices don’t get that same kind of attention though.
