The Album Cover that iTunes SHOULD be promoting
If Apple was smart, they’d promote the hell out of the new ICE-T Album.
See, virtually every record store in America and Europe is refusing to sell it, because of this cover:
If iTunes was smart, they’d be all over this like a cheap suit, with a campaign all about how we don’t need music stores anymore, anyhow - especially music stores that don’t even let you buy what you want!
If they were smart.
I’m just sayin’,
Live from Chicago, I remain at a Starbucks until my meeting in 30 minutes.

You should have mentioned you were gonna be in Chicago. Could have gotten together for a beer and I could have asked you to remind me how the Mets’ post-season is going.
omg I’m so freakin tired of the CRTC and Gov’t having ANY say on how a product should or shouldn’t be marketed, played or how artist are paid.
After all, isn’t it the CONSUMERS choice to buy or not to buy. And really the stores that are refusing to sell these items are only hurting themselves with less chance of making another profit.
Is the cover REALLY going to suggest to a consumer that “oh no, I shouldnt buy that its too racy” HELL NO!
Music is an ART!! Its an artistic expression of speech.
Thank gawd for Itunes, Limewire, and any other downloading systems out there so we CAN get the music we want.
The downside….. musician’s don’t get paid. Well they do if you use Itunes to get your songs. Limewire is still free.
A marketing genius once suggested that one artist put a warning on thier label warning parents of “may contain strong and suggestive language” Do we have to put that on the covers now.
More kids in the age group of 10-45 are more likely to buy it now, than before cos of it.
Artist, musicians and anyone expressing themselves should not be censored to express what they feel, as long as its noted that it may not be age approiate for some.
Think back to the days of heavy metal, when everyone thought they were worshiping the devil or suggesting you jump off a building.
People seriously need to get a life and put that useless energy towards something that matters.
The lead singer from Bedouin Soundclash
(Jay Malinowski) is an artist first and has a his own gallery showings in Toronto, and all his art work is on the covers of their albums… and some of its not that good either… should we ban that too?
ggrrrr get a life people.
